Lash Lift Care

PRE-CARE

  • Avoid using oil based products around eye area for at least 1-2 days prior to your lash appointment. This is to insure we have don't have a barrier effecting the solutions which can impact your results.
  • No caffeine 10 hours prior to your lash appointment. It is important that your eyes remain calm during your appointment. Drinking caffeine before your appointment may cause your eyes to flutter, which can make the service difficult to perform.
  • Bring your contact case if you wear contacts. You will need to take them out during service. This is to ensure that if there was an accidental leakage into your eyes, the solution wont get trapped.
  • Arrive to your appointment with no makeup. Makeup on eyes will result in time loss to your appointment due to having to remove your makeup. This will impact your lift results. Please plan accordingly.
  • Keep hairstyles minimal. Some hairstyles can raise your head up while lying down. Your head must be lying flat or your chin being able to lift towards the ceiling comfortably. A visible view of your lash line is important to perform the service.
  • Wear comfy clothes and shoes. You will be asked to remove your shoes prior to lying on the bed.
  • Come ready to relax and keep talking to a minimal. As much as connecting with clients is always appreciated, talking creates facial expressions and head movements that make it hard to perform the service.

AFTERCARE

  • Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. This is just to allow the nutrition to soak into your lashes. Don't worry, water will not effect your lift if you do get them wet!
  • Avoid heat and steam for the first 24-48 hours.Too much heat, steam, or humidity too soon can cause the lift to relax, drop, frizz, or set unevenly.
  • Avoid makeup for the first 24-48 hours. Your lashes are still settling into their new shape, and makeup, oils, or makeup remover can interfere with the final result.
  • Sleep on your back to avoid misshaping the lift/curl of your lashes for the first 24-48 hours. It is still recommended to continue sleeping on your back even after 24-48 hours to keep lashes looking fresh the longest.
  • Avoid sleeping with eye masks on the eyes for the first 24-28 hours. We don't want your lashes misshaped.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes or picking your lashes. Lets keep your lashes, not remove them! Don’t touch and mess with your lashes unless you are brushing/styling them.
  • Avoid waterproof mascara. This tends to be heavy in oils and weighs down the lift/curl of your lashes, resulting if them relaxing. A mascara curated for lash lifts that conditions along with providing the dark color is highly recommended if you plan to wear mascara. At Isolate Artistry, Lash Clinic Veiled Black is recommend.
  • Use lash lift serum to hydrate and style lashes if desired. This is recommended daily to keep them hydrated after processing and can be done immediately after the service.
